Up for sale is a classic, Canadian beehive style insulator in a beauty of a bluish aqua colour, and with the original, thick iron tie wire securely fastened in place. The iron is very well preserved and has not been weakened at all by probably over a hundred years out in the elements. The insulator itself is incredibly heavy and thick-glassed giving it that sweet, crystal-ball kind of look that you only find in older insulators. The embossing is the [010] style, and is thick and heavy - probably some of the boldest embossing out there on an insulator. All in all, a great insulator style to begin with - nicely complimented by that iron wire... if you like that sort of thing.

The condition of the insulator itself is essentially pristine. The only damage I can see is a tiny scratch below the rear wire groove. I wouldn't hesitate to call it VVVNM.

I'm asking $15.00 U.S. plus shipping for this great example of a cool, old Canadian insulator with its original line hardware attached. There aren't too many out there like this one. I accept PayPal, money orders or bank cheques, or personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I have dealt with before. Please feel free to look through my previously unsold items in the "For Sale (Not Sold)" folder, and combine purchases to save on shipping.
