Nice example of an early ADLAKE "RELIABLE" lantern in great shape. This lantern is a true PRR lantern, sporting a beautiful clear globe embossed PRR, as well as a nice PRR stamp on top of the lantern. The rim of the lantern features all of the patent dates awarded to the Adams & Westlake Company. There is only some light surface rust on the lantern, with the exception of the handle, which is rusted, but still solid. The globe is in perfect condition. The wick extender is in working order, but the wick needs to be replaced. Three of the legs on the bottom support ring are bent, which makes it sit at a slant, but they could be bent back. This lantern would be a good candidate for restoration, or leave it in it's glorious used, original state. I am asking $40 + Shipping.
