Up for sale is [id=235665118 ; this piece], which I have decided to part with after a few years of it not having been placed in justifiably prominent display. I am now rethinking my philosophy of "KEEP EVERYTHING!!!" and am beginning to realize that someone else may enjoy this one more. :P

The provenance of this piece is in the above link, but as you can see the piece is a beauty of a Hemingray blue CD 154 in the [070] embossing style, but with a big, dramatic carbon veil in the front skirt cutting right through the HEMINGRAY embossing. I re-used the photo used in that old post, as I couldn't seem to take a better one now. The veil runs up into the wire groove on the right hand side, where it meets with a small amber wisp behind the right mould line at the wire groove. To the left, it runs down to the base edge, and then thins out but runs back up over the inner skirt and up along the pinhole. It's a pretty dramatic piece to say the least!

The condition of the piece is pretty good, with just a small, 1/4" ping on the front, right lower wire ridge. The piece was found on the crossarms of a pole that had been fallen onto the railbed by a farmer who wanted the pole itself for fencepost use, so I am guessing this small ping is from the fall onto the rocks. As well, there is a faint bit of scratching below "42", and a few microfleabites above the right upper wire ridge. All in all, in excellent, VNM condition.

I'm asking $20.00 U.S. plus shipping for this no doubt unique piece. I accept PayPal, money orders or bank cheques, or personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I have dealt with before. Please feel free to look through my previously unsold items in the "For Sale (Not Sold)" folder, and combine purchases to save on shipping.
