Up for sale is a great group of three rounded base Canadian Pacific Ry Co CD 143s. From left to right these are: [010] in aqua with its characteristic "narrow" tapered pinhole - much narrower at the top than the bottom; [020] in light lime green with amber tadpole above "CANADIAN"; [040] in aqua with tall, bold embossing and some light, wispy milk or carbon swirls. All three came from various sections of the Canadian Pacific line between Woodstock and Chatham, Ontario. The conditions of the three pieces are generally pretty good. From left to right: flat flaking around about 1/10th of the base which does not show unless you are looking right at it - this is pretty normal for these with the sharp inner base edge; on the light lime green piece there is a 3/16" ping on the right crown, a couple 1/8" faint fisheyes on the front crown (barely noticeable), and a bit of roughness around the inner base edge (almost impossible to find these pieces without this sort of damage), including a couple small fan cracks (less than 1/2", and honestly almost ubiquitous on this style); a couple small base flakes, a 3/16" flat rear wire groove flake and a few scattered small pings (less than 1/8"). I'm asking $24.00 U.S. plus shipping for this great trio. It is an excellent example of this style and colour for your collection. I accept PayPal, money orders or bank cheques, or personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I have dealt with before. Please feel free to look through my previously unsold items in the "For Sale (Not Sold)" folder, and combine purchases to save on shipping. |
