This old transmission line is now downgraded to 15 kV distribution near Ceva, between Genoa and Torino in northern Italy. On this tower the line can be opened with a switch; we can see a mix of insulators and some chains are made with JD suspension disks. Note the wires that shunt three of the five elements of each chain. The other insulators are modern U-40 glass disks, old Richard Ginori 2024 porcelain suspensions and modern RP3 2-parts glass multiparts.
