If you ever get to Northern California check out the tiny berg of Mt. Hebron located just off state Hwy. 97 . Open wire for miles along the RRX with CD 154 Mclaughlins, CD 162 Mclaughlins and many assorted CD 106 ponys and an occasional CD 121 toll type There is an open wire telephone double arm and double side peg circuit that runs from Dorris, Ca. up over the Mt. Hebron summit through Grass Valley and into Weed, Ca. on the West side of Hwy 97. Just South of the US Forest Service compound on Hwy. 97 ( MT Hebron) you can see the poles still standing for the open wire telephone circuit. Follow that line for miles South over the summit. Occasional pole still standing with glass.
