Had to really wheel and deal to have these four insulators from the sell at an antique shop I frequent up in the Catskill Mountains. After several long trips attempting to connect with the seller I ended up handing over some cash and a stack of 70's Rock N Roll albums I've had stored away. The Mickey Mouse was a need be for my collection being I sold all the others I've ever had in my collection in the past. I'm not sure what CD the Roman Helmet is. It measures 4 1/2 inches high like a CD 260 but doesn't have an inner skirt. A CD 259 by the book should be 4 5/8 inches which this insulator definitely is not. My guess is it is a squat version of a CD 259 if there is such an animal. Will be calling out for help on this matter in the questions asked album really soon. Afterall, I would like to know exactly. The two Corning Pyrex CD 235's are no trouble at all to identify. One is gold carnival and the other a dark carnival. |
