Photo taken during April 1966 near the intersection of LaTijera at West 74th Street. Shown along the left is a really cool and classic double-circuit subtransmission line (likely at 34kv) sporting three-piece brown multipart porcelain insulators. Along the right are local primary (4kv) as well as secondary lines with a great looking spanwire street series incandescent street light which lit the forementioned intersection. Added note: the extension bracket that you see on the left of the primary circuit crossarms was for the series street lighting loop. |
