Here's a cool CD 135 glass insulator with unusual reinforced diamond grooves designed to help the tie wire from breaking the entire insulator. Photo shows all damage- thin 1.75 inch slice, 2 small flakes. The base embossing: "CHICAGO INSULATING CO. PAT OCT 16 1883". Displays one fleabite shy of factory mint from reverse side and the base is incredible to find in mint shape with entire embossing intact. Reverse skirt has 3 dots embossed on it.
