Photo showing some pretty heavy snow and ice-caked phone open-wire, trees and buildings. Quite obvious from a negative image. The original intention probably was for the flip-side to look light a cool night view. And I agree! This was taken in WA State down the road a piece from Metro Fecklesburg (I think) near where US Route 2 and State Route 207 meet. If you are familiar with this time-set and locale, it's not too far from where the UPRR street car used to make its turn to the left by the big oak tree that Sam DuMont (the old TV repairman) proposed to his wife-to-be. Unfortunately very shortly afterwards, he got fatally electrocuted by sticking a screwdriver into what he thought was an unplugged set. ComCast then took over his cottage-industry business. The rest is history. PS...It is rumored that the GOM rode his bike along this route with his comrades in the later 1960s with and bought CocaCola drinks at this store after foraging smooth base Hemingray No.9's with the 1893 patent date in clear, aqua and purple shades from where this line rambled into the dark woods :-) ==================================== |
