Here is a shot of one of the poles. The wire is long gone. Other poles remain standing on the line with either spools or two piece doughnut type insulators. Nearby this pole is a pile of rotted cross arms with clear Pyrex tramp brackets and telephone CD 128 types. I have absolutely no idea why low voltage power insulators were used on this farmer's line but rural people are very good at making anything work and scrounging parts. The cattle don't seem to much care!
