Was out in the far rural areas today on a facility inspection work order. I had seen this older farmer line from the pavement and scoped it with my glasses years ago but saw only vintage spools and two piece doughnut style insulators used so never followed the entire line out.

Today I had to drive in quite a ways off the blacktop across hundreds of acres of cattle country to the work site. I almost missed it but the blue porcelain caught me eye. Look carefully about the center of the photo for the lone pole on this old farmer's line. the wire is long gone but the poles are still mostly standing. Additional views to follow.
