I used two part clear casting resin that was colored to match the glaze weld joint color ... altho what you see here is the original bubbly clear glazeweld joint that I preserved. ... I am really happy with how nice this repair came out . the repair is almost undetectable . I still need to fix the crown chip but that will wait till another day... I am saving the crown from the insulator that donated the skirt so that I can cut and grind out a piece to fill the chip rather then using filler and paint.
