This long gone Portland General Electric Co transformer bank pole was located on the next street north of my old house in Sellwood (Portland) Oregon. The primary voltage is 11,000 in a delta configuration and the pole served a large building formerly a brewery. Note the johnny balls used to dead end the 480 volt secondary and the half crossarm for the primary jumper wire.

The neighborhood normal distribution voltage was (still is) 7200/12500 volts Y. This 11,000 volt tap was connected to a long 11kV delta line along the railroad, 1 block to the west of the pole. As time went by, the building was abandoned, this pole was stripped down to a service drop pole, and the 11kV delta was taken entirely down and removed, see NEXT photo. The building was finally demolished and the lot is now multiple dwelling condos. Bah! Progress! Sorry the pole is a silhouette, bad weather that day!
