Some long gone 57kV transmission poles of the Portland General Electric Co. on west Washington St. in Hillsboro, Oregon. These are using multiparts and use their old "close spacing" spec. Photo taken circa 1980. What is amazing is that nowdays, nothing in this photo exists anymore! The space to the left ot the street is now a large county courthouse and jail complex at least 3 blocks long! The poles have been all rebuilt and relegated to the right of the street in front of one of the PGE substations. Even the pavement has been replaced! The rails have been re-designed for mass transit. The corner lot to the left where the tree is now is a 4 story parking garage. Bah! Progress!
