It's been determined that the # behind the proper 8 of 1893 is an #8 and I should wear my glasses more. Still a though one to find with the milk. Now $20 shipped.

Here's a chance to place a milky swirled Hemingray No.9 Patented CD 106 with a patent date error in your collection. It's not mint condition but who knows if a better one out there exist. I can't tell you whether or not it has a common error or not but there is an 8 super imposed over a 3 as part of the 1893 patent date on the rear skirt. I've searched Icon's error album and didn't find one like it. Can't tell much from this pic but this insulator has some nice milky swirls. You'll see them when you follow the links I've added to this page that will show you the patent date error. It is more a milk and carbon mix. What I can tell you now is there is drip point damage. Quite a bit to be more percise. There is also has a deep flake chip under the dome more inside the WG on one side. Send fore pic if interested.
