I found this interesting 'thing' at an antique shop. The lady mentioned that it was a gift to an employee (or something like that) somewhere in the telecommunications industry.

The insulator shown is a clear KERR CD 155. The metal frame is marked:

AG BELL THE TELEPHONE 1876

Can anyone provide any information about this, or tell me its value please?
