This is one of my favorites...

Atop this pole are two wires for the series street lighting circuit serving this vicinity. A c.1900 gooseneck street light connected to it also can be seen. On the lower crossarm are lines serving local electric light customers. Groveland is among the 40 publicly-owned electric light departments in Massachusetts.
