Up for sale is a very scarce and attractive little multipart which I believe was used exclusively along distribution lines in S.W. Ontario. These were made by Thomas and have the distinctive two blue jean seams on the inner surface of the lower shell and a one inch pinhole. To the best of my knowledge, these pieces date to around 1907 or a little after. To date I have found several broken examples in a substation dump, but have really not seen many of these pieces found, and fewer made available for purchase. It's a difficult to find style, and this example is in quite reasonable shape. This one has a pretty normal gray coloured glaze with some nice drippy spots.

The condition of this piece is a little rough, but generally pretty good. Some cement expansion cracks are visible from one side and run around about 1/4 of the crown. There is a chip on the lower shell of the opposite side, measuring about 1" by 5/8". Apart from this, there is a scratch on the upper shell on one side measuring about 1" long, and abot a half dozen scattered fleabites on the side of one of the ears. There is also a small chip about 1/2" long at the very base of the threads inside the lower shell.

I'm asking $95.00 U.S. plus shipping for this early, scarce and attractive multipart style. This one will no doubt make a great addition to your collection, and you may not see another one offered any time soon! I accept PayPal, money orders or bank cheques, or personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I have dealt with before. Please feel free to look through my previously unsold items in the "For Sale (Not Sold)" folder, and combine purchases to save on shipping.
