All we really wanted to do today was go back to the last tower base and spot the next ridge that the line may have crossed. When you start finding stuff it's hard to stop. This picture is of two Thomas 12" plate insulators with the dirt washed off. A bit of steel wool and they will shine. We also came home with about 15' of the 7 strand copper cable from this historic 1908 line!
