Up for sale is this fantastically coloured NEW ENG TEL & TEL CO CD 104. This one is the [010] embossing with a backwards '5' on the dome top. The colour of this insulator is absolutely fantastic and absolutely screams with vibrancy on a sunny day in natural light - I am sure it would look equally good in a light box.

I am amazed by the apparently flawless condition of this piece. I don't think I have seen many insulators in my years collecting in this great a condition. Even the base edge of the piece doesn't seem to have any roughness about it. The only thing I can see wrong with it is the tiniest of flea bites on the rear crown. The piece is even as shiny as the day it was made, and doesn't look as though it was ever buried. Some light scratches in the wire groove are the only thing that indicates this piece was even used!
