Up for grabs is a pair of more unusual CD 155s that rarely seem to turn up. While these are still new styles, it seems there is still interest in them due to their relatively scarcity for styles of this age.

The piece on the left is the [040] Armstrong CD 155 with "KPP" in a circle before the Armstrong embossing. Its colour is a normal off clear. Unfortunately, this one does have a 3/16" ping on the left side of the front skirt right near the mould line, and a 1/4" ping on the rear upper wire ridge. This piece has a 1972 date code.

The piece on the right is a seemingly ordinary [010] KERR CD 155, but with the elusive 1978 date code on the rear skirt, making this one the last of the known North American-produced glass telegraph insulators. Notice that its surface is of highly whittled, orange-peeled textured glass which was apparently caused by the rust which developed on the inside of the moulds used to produce this piece during inactivity until this fateful last order was placed by special request.

Alright, the KPP piece has sold, but the 1978-dated KERR piece remains. I am asking $9.00 U.S. plus shipping for this piece. I accept PayPal, money orders or bank cheques, or personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I have dealt with before. Please feel free to look through my previously unsold items in the "For Sale (Not Sold)" folder, and combine purchases to save on shipping.
