Was out on another adventure today. My plan was to venture way up New York State to check out antique shops when I spoted a store that I'wasn't sure I ever stoped at. Did a U turn and parked my car then headed for the door. Before I entered I looked to my left and saw some insulators in a window. The building itself had a wing on each end and the entrance to the store was in the center of the main building. After spoting the glass I walked over for a peak. Right away I saw a few that I was interested in. One was a Brookfield CD 164 that was loaded with snow. Actually there were several of them. Having my brief preview I entered the store and proceed to make my way to where the wing door shouls have been if there was one. Turned out here wasn't no entry way so I went to the counter spoke to the attendent that was present. He claimed the insulators belonged to his father but his father had company just arrive and I would be able to ask him if he wanted to sell his insulators. Me and the clerk (son) exchanged contact info and out the door I went. Fortunately I didn't return to my car and just leave. As I was returning to my auto after a second look furstrated, the owners son came out the store door. Said he had a key if I'd like to get a better look at my interest. How could I not having the fever? Before we entered into the door that led into the left wing I asked my question which was, "Did your father give you any idea what he would like to have for all of them?" He said, "Yes he did. Said you could have them all for a twenty. My response was, "That funny, that's just what I was thinking I'd offer myself and YES I will take them all at that price.

Turned out to be quite a few CD#'s as can be seen in my pic. To see what I kept [id=323367499] . About half that are pictured have aleady entered my recycling dumpster. The rest I planning to give away at the Springfield show. A couple will be snowy CD 164's that have to much damage on the base or a chip at the base of dome. I'm sure somebody will walk away with them. See ya there!! But in the mean time if you can answer a question or two that would be appreciated. I'll be posting a pic in the questios asked album soon regarding the Brookfield 164's in this bunch. Thanks.
