On the left is a U-1660 with gold trim on the top (except for the saddle groove) and gold trim in the wire groove. On the crown is a glazed decal applied to the insulator after the insulator was made. The insulator was then refired to attached the decal. The insulators were bought from the insulator company, Richard Ginori, and then the artist Fornasetti applied the label and resold them. Around the crown: HAPPY 1956. Around the skirt: A calendar for the year as well as zodiac symbols. Inside the inner skirt: FORNASETTI * ITALIA / MADE IN ITALY, mint insulator, excellent gold trim. $50 postpaid.
