After searching what was supposed to be 6000 venders I ended up coming home with these six insulators. Hoped to come home with many more figuring the quanity of venders and for all the miles I traveled. But one never knows what one will find and that dream of finding something wonderful and rare gives a guy like me fuel. Also it is sometimes a pleasure meeting some of the sellers. There was one present who I told I know many an insulator collector that would like to shoot him. That was because of all the insulators he cooked over the years. Told him it really wasn't any of my business what he did with them or who he sold them to. That was unless he didn't say they were nuked. I had never seen any in person. Most looked nice but the colors were so odd you could tell they were not made that way. Told the guy I also wouldn't buy and that have been nuked/cooked, only ones that were not. Not everyone feels as I do however. He pointed out five or six he had seperated from the rest that somebody was supposed to come by and purchase. The average price was $15. I purchased the Brookie 162.1 in this pic from him only. Believe it or not that was about the only unaltern insulator he had and it was cheaped then the colored ones he created. Not know how well you can sell in my pic but this insulator is loaded with amber swirls and has some good size broken fire bricks pieces.
