It has been a long time happening, but I finally got to meet Mylene English. We met each other on ICON, and I enjoyed her Quirky outlook on the hobby and people in the hobby. Quite often I seemed to be the target of said comments. We became good friends long ago, and now, finally after 12 long years, we got to meet in Merritt, and we are now great friends.

I finally got to meet Mylene,[lots of hugs and some tears], her husband James, and daughter Shonelle. There are other family members, but this was a 16 hour drive for them to get here, so not everyone made it. Then if we could possibly make this any better, I was told they will be back in 2012. So, if you wish you meet Mylene and her wonderful family, come on out to the 2012 Merritt Insulator Show.
