These are really *way* up there! They support the catenary power for the Amtrak and Metro North Transit rail system in southwestern CT into New York.

As far as Ms. McLaughlin and I can tell these are vintage light gray multiparts and not sky gray ones. There are plenty of the latter elsewhere along the route however these insulators are of a way-different design than the newer ones...

Also note how the high-voltage transmission additions were added to the top of the original structures.
