Here's the sign which enticed me to look further at this old power house. Its location is near Escanaba, MI, famous for its Cornish pasties, deer hunting mystique, and the cult flick "Escanaba in da Moonlight", which features such classic lines as "if you're looking for heaven, it's north of the bridge" and "Give a man a little luck and anything will do for brains". IMDB has a whole list of quotes.

If you have to ask about pasties, deer hunting, or "Escanaba in da Moonlight", you probably don't want to know.
