CD 145 [230] BROOKFIELD with a shop number 15. The front is embossed 15 / W. BROOKFIELD in an arc / 45 CLIFF ST / N.Y. There is no embossing on the back. There are 2 lighter bands of milk in the threads that start in the middle of the embossing and follow the threads to the backside. The embossing is nice and strong and the 15 is clearly visible. 4 small vent teats are present on the inner skirt. There is a thin pinky nail flake on the lower wire ridge just left of the Y in N.Y. It can be seen in the picture. It goes a little longer than can be seen in the picture. There is a small scratch on the back just above the wire groove. The base is out of round when viewed from the bottom but it does not wobble. I spoke to the King CREB this past weekend at the Eastern Regional in Martinsburg and I understand there are only 4 of these elusive shop 15s known in collections. Price $100.00 plus shipping.
