Cos Cob, CT.photographed 1987.11kv 25hz came out of the generating station here through this structure, and was sent throughout this system. Now Connecticut Light & Power has a substation here (and several other locations) to supply 12.5kv 60hz. power. The triangular catenary has been replaced with tensioned wires, like you see in modern light rail systems.
