This insulator is simply gorgeous! It has been repaired but was only broken into a few large parts. Other then a few glaze chips and flakes on the top and one pinkie sized spot on the base it is all original and has no plastic fills . The top platter has several large parts cleaved off and the base similarly had several parts broken away that were all found and accurately epoxied back into place the collar crown and core have no damage . There are a number of factory chips on the edge of the rim and at the edge of the spout . Interestingly many of the chipped off pieces of the rim are glaze-welded to the underside of the top platter! The color of both the base and top are a beautiful blond color The base has more of a sandy color. the top is clearly marked with marking 6-2 and the date stamp is VICTOR AUG 12 1901... Oh Wow..... I just realized this insulator is 110 years old today! Please see the next photo in this album for another picture of this insulator.[id=317741723]
