CD 145 Scarce B.G.M.Co. purple

This CD 145 is embossed on the (F-Skirt) B.G.M.Co. which is for the BALTIMORE GLASS MANUFACTURING COMPANY and it is believed the company was in production from1896-1903. B.G.M.CO. insulators were prone to base flakes due to the nature of the their glass, But this example has NONE. It does however have 3 scratches on the rear dome about 3/8 of inch long( see second photo) and a place on the rear just below the groove at the top of the skirt that looks like a shallow glass flake. You might find a pin prick or two as well. I have not cleaned this insulator as you can see from the rust in the groove. It has a huge bubble in the glass right in the front just below the wire groove and another one under the B.
