This is the authentic Dining Car where Eva performed her culinary magic. The rail car was restored by Ray and Eva Loranger. . Built in 1909 by Canadian Pacific as an observation car, the Mount Lefroy was considered in it's time the finest way to travel. By 1942 the car was refurbished as a Day Coach, and was subsequently sold to the N.A.R. [Northern Alberta Railroad] Today, this car continues it's life as a full service dining car. I'll show a few more pictures in an attempt to give you some idea of the ambience of the Footloose Caboose Lodge. |
