I found this in a junque shop in Waterford, PA for a buck. After it's acid bath, this common Hemi-40 has the distinction of being the most photographed in my collection this year. I'm trying to capture it's true color, and I think this is it. I really want to call it Hemingray blue, but any opinions or thoughts are welcome. The backdrop in the pic is a partly cloudy blue sky. (Sorry for the common insulator drivel and stoopid query, but it's driving me nutz...) OH! There's a big "8" on the dome! |
