Old General Electric fluted transformers

I have not seen that many substation-type transformers where the exterior is fluted like these are. I also think it's pretty neat that the paint color is the ONLY difference between the two cans (these boost one 2400V circuit to 7200V single phase for several rural customers - one seems to be a spare). Mike Parker says these are early GE units - vintage 1890-1910.
