Here is a view of Picture Gorge in central Oregon, on our way home from the 2011 Lostine Swap at the home of Howard and Linda Banks.

The rain did not put a damper on this swap. Because of the Banks' generous hospitality, a great time was had by all! My only regret was failing to get a photo of Linda Banks, who worked tirelessly to ensure her guests were well provided for (while also minding two small grandchildren).

It's rumored that next year's Lostine swap will occur in July or August. Will Little Switzerland be in your vacation plans?
