A nice set of matching orange-brown fog bell suspensions grace this little substation in Lincoln City, OR. They were original to this substation for 24,000 volts built by Mountain States Power before 1954. Pacific Power now has the substation and these are now insulating only 12,500 volts. But since the ocean is not far away, the fog bells are doing what they are supposed to do quite well! Photo taken in 2008 by Dave Dahle.
