Perhaps this gentleman worked in Supervisory, Engineering or some other department for Ma Bell. Whatever...he stands mighty proud and I am sure he really was. Note one of their open-wire poles standing in the background along with the spring-coiled antenna base of his two-way radio attached towards the rear of his vehicle.
