This is a pristine copy of "Connecticut Pioneers in Telephony: The Origin and Growth of the Telephone Industry in Connecticut" published in 1950 by J. Leigh Walsh under the auspices of the New Haven branch of the Telephone Pioneers of America. It contains 444 pages of loaded historical information related to the birth of telephony in New England with a particular emphasis on the Nutmeg State - This copy was a limited edition given to F.B. Blythe of the Hartford Plant of S.N.E.T. The book itself is in excellent condition and is hard to tell it is over half a century old! The dust-jacket (on which the presentation information is typed) is in poor shape, but intact.

For photographs of the early lines, buildings, and people that made CT the hub of telephony in the early days look no further. The book is loaded with copious notes, and biographical sketches of important men in the field.

This is the first copy of the book I've ever seen - I am asking $45 which includes USPS Media Mail delivery to your door in the U.S.

Thanks for looking!
