Recently at Icon's daily forum I posted under the title Beware of Red Flags. Yesterday I visited weekly nearby flea market. By chance a vender who I always bug about glass insulators brang along a bunch. From that bunch the insulator pictured in the middle reminded me exactly of my forum post. It is a skeb where as my post concerned a creb. This one is covered in train soot just like the one I nearly lost my $50 on through a private deal through eBay. This one looked even more green yesterday being the sky was overcast with rain clouds. Later I plan on posting another pic of this insulator after an acid bath. It to would have about the same book value as the creb I thought I was buying from the eBay seller if it truely was green. My guess is this one is also just an aqua. The Patented Hemingray No. 9 I purchased from the same flea market vender. The Brookfield CD 102 on the left came from an antique center I frequently visit being I have found other nice insulators there. This one is nicely laced with amber swirls that are stripped at the top of the dome.
