This same municipal is replacing the 2400V system as funds permit with 12.5kV construction. Even though they had a 115/12.5kV substation built west of town in 1999, there is still only the one 12.5kV feeder coming out of it and which makes a beeline to the old plant and sub downtown before continuing on to the school. Here, one leg of the 2400V system has been replaced with a new 7200V branch line, but the hardware for the two circuits remains, abandoned in place (the second circuit was bundled cable; supported on the bracket above the arm).
