Found two of these on the weekend while walking an old line. Glazed bottom, unglazed top. I haven't bothered to wash them yet but they have a threaded pinhole(actually a threaded metal insert). Any help greatly appreciated. Question answered.......it's the bottom shell/skirt of a multipart insulator. Thanks all!
