The G.N.W.TEL.CO. in purple is a must insulator in any collection. It along with a carnival Pyrex are essential to any insulator collection. This CD 145 is a deep purple, rather than the darker royal purple. There is a small open bubble along the base of the skirt to the left of the embossing. There is just a bit of flaking on one edge of the bubble. The only other flaw is a very small nick along the upper edge of the wire groove on the back side of the insulator.
