This older jar is tough to find. It has the Globe style large fancy mold number 4 on the base. It is a crude plain wax sealer and most likely pre-dates the Globe series. At the National Bottle Show in Wilmington, OH last year there were hundreds of jars, dozens of Globe jars and a lot of wax sealers but not one of these. I have personally found shards of these jars along the Ohio River at Covington, KY. This jar also comes in the ultra rare black glass and I have found shards of those also at the Hemingray site. The condition of this jar is outstanding. VVVNM. Looks like it was never used. Bubbles, lines and lots of character too. You'll never find a nicer one. $35 shipped. Can send more pictures if needed. Personal checks O.K. No Pay-pal. Thanks for looking!
