This a steel blue insulator that has some Green Amber coming down from the threads into the skirt just behind the right side mold line. It has many bubbles with some being good sized, The bigggest bubble is right of the embossing low on the front skirt. There is a stress crack in the skirt that starts at the base and ends someplace behind the W. There is also a surface crack at the top of the dome and a 1/8" shallow clam shell flake inside the wire grove at the top. Did notice that until I just gave the insulator a final look over now as I'm posting. Otherwise this insulator is mint and I'm looking to see to the first person that says I want it for $40 shipped. They book 30-40 without the cool amber on the side. There could also be some poorly done double embossing on the dome. It's hard to tell for sure about that being the surface is kind of orange peeled to begin with and also has straw lines in the same area as well. I accept personal checks and money orders as prefered forms of payment. On this one I will also accept payment in the gift mode. I will also combine shipping if you purchase any other insulators I have listed for sale here at Icon. You could figure on saving $7.50 per insulator after the first. My prices included shipping for most of the insulator I have for sale. |
