Update 5/5 : Had a hard pull at $700......Adding another sinker and dropping the line in deeper water.........Now $650. OK $600......Gonna move this one yet......NOW $550

Got two nibbles at $1000...... Lets try $700

Update 5/3 : Not by intention I left a couple details undeclared. They are:

1) The base is in perfect condition.

2) On the bottom of the skirt there are a total of three shallow side flakes. Two are about the size of a wooden match stick head. The remainder is half that size. One of the two first mentioned looks like it is an open bubble that was close to the surface and the outer glass popped off. It is deeper then the other two genuine side flakes.

3) On the rear dome there is what is either a wire dig or a tool mark. It is narrow an. About 1/8" at the widest and less then 1/2" long. The location of whatever it is is located smack between the first JAN and second JAN of the patent dates. Also, one of the flea bites I mentioned below in my listing slightly effects the 4 of 14 of the JAN 14 1879 patent date. Regardless of all the previous I've mentioned here in update #3 all the embossing is still cleary discernable.

This beautiful colored insulator has an unlisted embossing, The closest EIN is a 430. The exact embossing is : (F-Crown) 4 / W.BROOKFIELD. / 55 FULTON ST NY (note period after BROOKFIELD) (R-Crown) FEB 22 1870 / JAN 25 1870 / JAN 14 1879

The color is Chartreuse and it is packed with fizzy bubbles that really pop out when under lite. There is also milk chasing the threads down from the top as well as a line of milk going down the skirt on the left side mold line. This insulator is in almost mint condition on the front side. My pic of this insulator is turned slightly to the left and taken of the front view. At the right side mold line on the lower wire groove guide there is some chipping for a length of appx. 1 inch. The back side of this insulator actually displays the best even though it has four scattered flea bites and a 1/4" fisheye bruise with a little lighter stress bruises going off to the right an left about 1/2" in both directions. The fisheye only shows slightly when baxk lighted and rge light bruise behind doesn't appear at all. With the pics I've sent other Icon member showing the bruise behind the fisheye I had to turn the insulator just right in the sun. One of the flea bites on the dome effects the 4 of 14 some on the last patent date but not enough so a four is not recognizable. First email and a check or money order made out in the amout of $1000 will buy this jewel. That includes shipping and insurance anywhere in the lower 48 States. I cleanded this insulator an will supply more pic on request. Thanks for looking!
