This was my big find of recent days... a nearly mint marked U-923d other then a few flee bites on the rim, The insulator is has a clear 6-1 marking. these insulators are not glazewelded. This insulator design remains a misery none have ever been confirmed found on lines anyplace . As far as I know all the known ones were found in Victor . these come in both brown and white with less then six good specimens in each color reported. based on the color and marking these were made sometime in 1902or early 1903 they may have been a special order as none were ever cataloged.
