Fone line hunt

After doing some research, we found the location of an old toll line through the bush in Eastern Ontario. Now, Eastern Ontario is a lot like the midwestern US... fairly flat and mostly famrland. Ma Bell was able to keep it's line along country roads except in a very few places, such as the short stretch we found, about 2 miles. We hunted part of the line that ran alongside an ATV trail that the Bell crews probably used to get their pole-pulling machinery in, back in the 60's. I found one pole that probably snapped off, and used it to measure. With no luck on that front, we decided to attack a stretch that cut through solid bush. Here is what we found...
