I picked up this Paisley item yesterday in an antique mall. I know these come in a dark green, but I think this is blackglass. Sitting on the shelf or on a table it does not pass light. I have to hold it up to the sun or a light to see the deep, dark green color. It's like some of the CD 701.6 Confederate eggs. It's that dark.
