Photo taken during November 1969 near the intersection of Normandie Avenue and West Washington Boulevard. Here we see some really cool LADWP pole line architecture including higher and distribution-voltage crossover poles with dead-ends and some big multipart porcelain insulators (possibly supporting 34.5 kv lines) well above the distribution circuits. A three phase 4kv transformer bank utilizing brown porcelain box-type fuse cutouts is also noted, on the right.
